Bernard Bayer

Pianist Bernard Bayer is a rare artist who has captured the hearts of audiences around the world. He has performed as a soloist with Bratislava Philharmonic, San Diego Symphony and The Fairbanks Philharmonic among others. He is featured on a number of film scores including A Girl Like Me and The Visitor, and appeared with celebrity guest singers on Britain's hit show Pop Stars to Opera Stars. A dynamic performer, Bernard has won many competitions including the La Jolla Symphony Young Artists Competition, VOCE State Finals, Yamaha Piano Competition, MTAC Concerto Competition and the Joanna Hodges International Piano Competition. Bernard has a master's degree in performance from USC where he studied with world-renown pedagogue John Perry, and he spent most of his formative years studying with the incredible Jane Bastien (Bastien Piano Methods). Bernard is passionate about teaching and inspires his students to achieve beyond their expectations.
