Jiehae ParkJiehae Park studied classical voice and piano at Amherst College, and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego (where she received the 2009 Excellence in Teaching Award). Performances include the pre-Broadway run of Memphis (La Jolla Playhouse), Closer than Ever (Lodestone Theatre), and Disney’s “Step Up”. Based on over 10 years of study ranging from her early years as a classical lyric soprano to later training in Broadway and belt techniques, Jiehae teaches a highly physical blend of Linklater, Alexander technique, and classical methods. She is proud to run New York’s MFA Audition Intensive, which for the last three years has helped students gain admission to the top graduate drama programs in the country. Jiehae is a superb teacher who gives her students the instruction and encouragement they need in order to succeed. |
