Marti HarrisMarti Harris moved to the South Bay area from New York City where she fronted numerous club bands including Groove Apostle and Night Moves, as well as one of the city's favorite blues bands, The Shade Tree Mechanics. Marti's charismatic stage presence and powerful voice has also won her leading roles in many musical theater productions, including Chicago, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan where she studied Musical Theater and holds a Graduate Certificate from the Jazz Department at USC. Energetic and experienced, Marti inspires students of all ages to produce exceptional performances. |
